1. Manipal University- Dubai is the epitome of outstanding academic standards. I always desired to pursue my college degree in a renowned institution and Manipal University- Dubai satisfied my hunger for knowledge and nurtured my talents for public speaking and elocution. Education was an immense pleasure with the presence of experienced faculty. College life was very enjoyable though studies were made first priority. Manipal University- Dubai has a wonderful and encouraging environment that inspires students to be creative and think out of the box. As I specialised in finance, the faculty delivered brilliant theoretical and practical knowledge on Investments, Real Estate and Financial Markets.
My experience of studying in Manipal University- Dubai was nothing short of the word memorable. I would always cherish the memories of my dear college, faculty and friends. It was an honor to be the student of Manipal University- Dubai.

2. My name is Abhishek Padhi and I attended Manipal University- Dubai’s B.Sc., Information Systems and Management programme from 2005-2008. I came to Manipal University- Dubai as a confused person, but its clearly defined programmes helped me decide what I would like to achieve in my career. With a multi-cultural faculty as well as student body, Manipal University- Dubai has helped me understand and work with people of different backgrounds. The spacious and technologically up-to-date campus provides all the facilities needed to have a very conductive environment for the exchange of ideas. As far as extra-curricular activities go, Manipal University- Dubai offers opportunities in every field. Manipal Students are known to be very competitive at inter college competitions and events. I have had the honour of representing Manipal University- Dubai as a part of the inter-college quiz team for the 3 years that I spent there.
I chose Bsc. Information Systems and Management for its comprehensive mix of IT and management courses. The faculty is highly qualified and gives a thorough understanding of the concepts. Apart from teaching, they are constantly upgrading the course offering, in order to suit the changing market trends. They encourage the students to participate in this process actively, and bring out ideas that can take the program forward. A product of this is TECHNOLOGIC, an annual technology exhibition that has been organised since 2007. Apart from this, the compulsory Industry Attachment Programme helped me gain in-depth knowledge about the IT industry in Dubai, providing added advantage while attending job interviews.

3. I completed my Bachelor's of arts in Media and Communications with a major in Visual Communication at the Manipal University- Dubai. I chose to study in Manipal University because it stood out above the rest. I had offers from other universities, but the Manipal University- Dubai has a great reputation internationally, and had the specific course I wanted to do. I like the hands-on approach of the courses at Manipal University- Dubai because it has taken my learning beyond theory. I have learnt to apply my knowledge through experiences like giving presentations, working in teams, and active involvement in our tutorials. I feel better prepared to get into the workforce because of it. I also like that our lecturers use real-life examples in their teaching.
I think that the faculty invests a lot in students; they really look after us. I've met so many nice people here. The experience has broadened my horizon and really changed my view about many things.
My advice to prospective students is that, when you come to the Manipal University Dubai, don't be afraid to venture out and join clubs and societies. You will experience living amongst people from many nationalities and make lifelong friends. Coming here was the best decision I've made so far.

4. My name is Sidney D’souza and I graduated from Manipal University- Dubai in the year 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration specialising in Finance.
The lectures were of very high quality reflecting the knowledge and experience of the highly educated faculty.
I also felt that the faculty of Manipal University– Dubai focused on the success of each and every student and they were always helpful in terms of explaining certain complicated theoretical issues in an easily understandable way. At times the faculty seemed more like caring friends.
In addition the facilities offered at Manipal University– Dubai were great with unrestricted access to computers and a library that had books on every subject. Besides providing high quality education, Manipal University– Dubai actively encourages the students to take part in many extra curricular activities such as sports, debates, dance competitions and the very famous yearly Talents Day that provides an opportunity for students to showcase their unique talents. It was great to be part of these activities and develop my all round personality. The Manipal University– Dubai experience is truly one that I can never forget.

5. Three years ago when I, Abinaya Sankaran had to choose my career, I opted for the currently rising field Biotechnology. Today, I am a final year student of B.Sc Biotechnology in Manipal University- Dubai. One of the main reasons to choose this university for realising my career goal was that the curriculum provided here covered a broad spectrum of the subject rather than sticking to one particular specialised field. A well- equipped laboratory, frequent training session in modern lab techniques, highly educating lectures organised during the Biotech Meet are the added features of this university. The professors here are not only encouraging but also very friendly and approachable. Academically, a university can be perfect but college life can become extremely boring without great friends and extracurricular activities. I have been lucky with both in these three years. Apart from studies, students get the opportunity to organise common welfare events like Blood Donation Campaign and Health Awareness Week and I feel privileged to have been a part of these activities. The wonderful experience gained in this college has given me a lot of confidence and knowledge required for my further studies in Biotechnology.

6. The college life is correctly personified as an emotional roller coaster ride with happiness, anger, frustration, nervousness, excitement, stress all being a part of this sensational ride. This is exactly how I would describe my first year at the Manipal University- Dubai. You always fear the first few days of settling in and kick starting the most memorable 3 years of your life. But surprisingly I felt none of that. The faculty and seniors all welcomed us with beaming smiles. However I have a confession to make, Manipal University– Dubai was not my college of preference, but tables have turned around. We have role plays and competitions always motivating us to go that extra mile to research and come up with innovative ideas.
Furthermore, students are always encouraged to take part in co-curricular activities thus ensuring over all growth of every student.
Students raiding the faculty’s cabin to have a casual chat is not a strange sight at Manipal University- Dubai. This truly symbolises the deep bonds every faculty member shares with their students. All in all, we feel like a BIG FAMILY!

As a student, I have always been passionate about everything that I do, and I believe that true education happens where the mind is liberated and hearts are inspired. This is exactly the forum that Manipal University– Dubai has provided me with. I entered as a little school girl and today, I stand as a confident media professional ready to step into the world, who has something to say and do in this challenging world. In this journey, along with the numerous exams, assignments and presentations, I am happy to have memories of the numerous debates, dramas, dance competitions, events, films, documentaries, and all these still bring smiles to me as I stand looking forward to graduating and flying away from this nest. I will truly miss my home.
