Dr. S. M. Faheem M.Sc, M.Tech (Biotech), PGDCA Biotechnology, Manipal University Dubai Campus faheemsm@manipaldubai.com Experience Hailing from the state of Andhra Pradesh, India, Dr. Faheem.S.M has done his Masters in Life sciences from the prestigious University of Hyderabad in the year 1992. Later on he obtained M.Tech degree from J.N.T.U, Hyderabad and doctoral degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University in the field of Biotechnology. Prior to joining academics, between years 1996 and 2000, Dr.Faheem has worked in renowned Biotech R&D’s of Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories and Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Spanning over a decade; he has got a rich blend of experience in biotechnology industry as well as academics. He also served campuses of international repute like Al Ghurair University, Dubai and BITS, Pilani Dubai Campus between 2002 and 2004. His current areas of interest are Applied Microbiology and Industrial Biotechnology. He passed GATE’92, obtained a postgraduate diploma in computer applications, attended several scientific sessions & workshops and has got international publications and scientific presentations to his credit. At Manipal University Dubai Campus, he has been teaching Biochemistry, Microbiology, Microbial & Industrial biotechnology, Biochemical engineering, Immunology, Laboratory Biotechniques, and IPR courses to both undergraduate and graduate students.
