  • Dr. S. V. Kota Reddy has become the approved guide of Manipal University, India to guide PhD students in Mechanical Engineering.

     

  • Dr. S. V. Kota Reddy’s paper entitled “Hybrid Air Conditioning System with Solution Heat Exchanger” won the “Best Paper Award” for RS. 5000 and a Certificate of Appreciation in a National Conference on “Nascent Technologies in Engineering Fields” organized by Fr.C.Rodrigues Institute of Technology, Vashi, Navi, Mumbai on 25th and 26th of February 2010.

     

     

  • One of Dr.Raghavendra’s students received M.Phil degree from Venkateshwara University, Thirupathi, Andhra Pradesh in the area of Directed Graphs in June 2010.

     

     

  • Embassy of India proposes to recognize and honor Indian skilled workers in the construction sector who have distinguished themselves in their field of work and contributed to the economy of U.A.E.  Dr.B.Soundara has been selected as one of the selection committee members being formed to adjudge Indian workers in the construction sector of U.A.E.

     

     

  • The faculty of the department participated in ‘Bazooka 2010’ – a sports event organized by and for the faculty and staff of Manipal University, Dubai. Dr. Raghavendra, Assistant Professor, Mathematics won the first prize in the Chess tournament.

     

     

  • Sri. Kamble Avinash Jayprakash was awarded the Doctoral degree for his research work on “The Geometry of Codes and Ciphers” from the Karnatak University, Dharwad in September 2011.

     

     

  • Dr. S. V. Kota Reddy received a project grant for USD 4000 from   ASHRAE, USAfor the project on “Solar liquid desiccant air conditioning system”.
