Dr.Sampath Kumar Ramanujam had his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Government college of Technology, Coimbatore. He completed his Master Degree in Thermal plant engineering from Shanmuga college of Engineering Affiliated in to Bharthidasan University Trichy in the year 2001. He joined Ph. D programme in Pondicherry University (Central University) and completed in 2010. He has more than 11 years of teaching and research experience. He started his career as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department at Sri Manakulavinayagar Engineering College, Pondicherry in the year 1999. Then he joined as an Assistant professor in Milam Engineering College, Villupuram in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the year 2004. Then he joined in the year 2008 in Manakulavinayagar Institute of Technology. He was promoted as the Professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering Department in June 2010.  Dr. Sampath Kumar Ramanujam published 11 research papers in International Journals and International Conferences. He is the life member of Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT). He is also the life member of Indian Society for Technical Education. Currently Dr. Sampath Kumar Ramanujam is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Studies, Manipal University Dubai Campus.
Areas of Interest in teaching
At Manipal University Dubai Campus, he is teaching Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Machine Drawing I and Thermal Engineering courses.
