Experience
Dr. Suhas P Veetil has received his doctoral degree in the field of Photonics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India for the investigation on the spatial temporal changes of ultra short laser pulses on passing through the optical systems. He was awarded the prestigious German Academic Exchange Fellowship (DAAD) for two years to    continue his research in Friedrich-Schiller University, Jena, Germany. He was among the group to represent the DAAD in the program to meet the Nobel Laureates in Physics in Lindau, Germany in 2005.  He has worked as a post doctoral research associate at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea under the BrainKorea Fellowship. He has published more than 10 research papers in international journals and has presented papers in many conferences France, Sweden, Germany and South Korea. He joined in Manipal University, Dubai in 2008 when the engineering program was first launched that year. He is also a reviewer for journal of Optics Communications and Journal of Optics and Laser Technology.
