Mr. Rama Prasad Poojary got his bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, Udupi in the year 1994. He completed his Master degree in Digital Electronics & Communication Engineering from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte in the year 2002. He started his research work in the area of Image Registration in 2004 under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. He submitted his PhD thesis in 2010. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience and more than 5 years of research experience. During his academic career he has worked in various institutions such as NITK, Suratkal, NMAM Institute of Technology, Sri Devi Institute of Technology, Mangalore and Eritrea Institute of Technology, Eritrea. He has organized 4 technical workshops in the area of Digital Image Processing and DSP Architectures. He delivered guest lectures in the area of Image Processing in neighbouring colleges. Mr. Rama Prasad Poojary is presently working as a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Studies Department of Manipal University, Dubai Campus.

 

His areas of interest are Image Processing and Digital Signal Processing.
