Experience
Sampath Suranjan Salins had his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 and Mtech in CAMDA (Computer aided mechanical design and analysis) in 2007 from the Manipal University, Manipal.  He started his career as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department at Srinivas Institute of technology, mangalore in the year 2007. In the year 2007 he joined distance education MBA (HR) course and completed it in the year 2009. He has one international paper (poster) publication; it is on Estimation of stiffness and damping coefficients in the 4 axial water lubricated bearings. During his three years of his work experience he guided the students who undertook the project “Anti-friction vehicle”. He also attended two workshops, conducted on Finite element methods by St. Josephs Engineering college, Mangalore and Mission 10 x conducted by Srinivas Institute of technology. Currently he is working as a Sr.Lecturer for Engineering Department, Manipal University Dubai Campus.
Areas of Interest in teaching
At Manipal University Dubai Campus, he is teaching Kinematic of machinery, Design of Mechatronics Elements & Metrology.
