Sophia Rahaman MS Computer Science Sophia@manipaldubai.com Experience Mrs. Sophia Rahaman, Sr. Lecturer, Department of Information Technology is a research scholar pursuing her research work in the field of data mining and health care from Andhra University Visakhapatnam, AP, Indai. She holds a MS degree in Computer science from Manipal University, Dubai and is an ICLD certified instructor. She has teaching experience of more than 12 years in various streams of IT and computer science. She started her career as a corporate trainer at NIIT Ltd. and continued her career in academic teaching at both the under graduate and post graduate levels. She had been with Al Ghurair University for 4 years and later joined the Manipal Dubai team and has seen her career prosper. Apart from her responsibility as an academician she also carriers out her responsibilities as the legal main contact of Manipal University Cisco Local Academy and a member of the editorial Team of the Department’s Newsletter I-Link. Areas of Interest in teaching At Manipal University Dubai Campus, she has been teaching courses related to problem solving, computer programming, Database, Data Mining, E Commerce, Web Services, Web Development and introductory IT Courses.
