I am Deepika a student of BSc.ISM,2nd Year. The past whole year has been a wonderful experience studying at Manipal University, Dubai. Manipal University stands apart from the rest. It gives students good exposure to expose student’s talents may it be academics, cultural activities sports etc. There has been a gradual change in the way we look at life and understand the real world. The course I have taken up is Information Systems and Management. It is a challenging course which is a mixture of both IT and management. In today’s world it is necessary not only to be good in your professional field but also to know the reality and act wisely. Faculties of our department are very friendly and guide us in the right path. They have moulded us properly which has helped us students attain greater heights. We have bonded well and have become one family. Regarding the course, it requires a lot of hard work and dedication. One has to be focused so as to achieve our goal and come out in flying colours. This course is very useful especially in today’s TECHNOLOGY WORLD, where computers rule the world. Every minute thing inside the computer and its working is studied in detail. The inclusion of CISCO in our curriculum was a very good choice, as it helped us learn lots of new things and also understand the demand in the market for a certified professional course. It has helped to build a strong foundation on our basics of computers and hence helped us the expectations of well established companies. I conclude by thanking all my faculties and friends for everything they have done for me and promise to make them proud.

I being a student of Manipal Dubai is very proud of my college. It has opened many doors for me. Not only did I learn the skills to make myself successful and enhance my knowledge but also gained an amazing support from my faculty that will help me even long after my graduation. While studying here, it helped me move swiftly through my programme without disrupting my fun. Manipal helped in both ways: Professionally and Personally. It as taught me and given me a base for about everything I need to know. Studying here has provided me with an extra edge and proved to be much better than I had initially expected.
