Abraham K S joined the Department of Interior Design as a Lecturer in 2009; he was a part of the same since 2007 as a visiting faculty. He is an Architect graduated in 1998 from Pillais’ College of Architecture, University of Mumbai. Completed his Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management in 2010 from the UK based Herriot Watt Universities Dubai Campus. He also completed a six months certificate course in Environmental Architecture from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai in 2006. After his graduation he worked with Arch Aid Architects, Navi Mumbai for one years as Project Architect and later was associated with the architectural firm Frishmanns Prabhu, Mumbai, Rakesh Puri, Horticulturist & Landscape Designer as a freelance designer. 

He has been highly interested and involved in pedagogy since 2001 as a full time faculty at Pillais’ College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai. During this period he was also actively involved in the college consultancy cell and completed research projects for 20th Century Architecture Society of India & MMRDA Mumbai. He has also been a part of the Examination and design juries at the University of Mumbai. He taught at Rizvi College of Architecture for 2 years as a visiting faculty and has participated in several Workshops on Sustainable Architecture & QIP programmes.

In 2000 along with two other partners he started his practice Designworks at Navi Mumbai an inter-disciplinary consultancy offering services in architecture, interiors & allied design solutions and has been actively involved as a Principal Architect working across several states of India and GCC successfully completing about 105 projects to date. The typological profile of the consultancy has been varied with Architectural projects like Real estate and property development, Schools, Cultural centre. Interior projects include corporate offices, health clinics, Showrooms, food joints and Landscape projects for developers. Indian Navy Mumbai, International Airport Mumbai these are few of the projects to be mentioned.

In GCC commercial interior projects has been completed in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman & UAE. The works in Dubai includes Corporate Office for Sky Jewellery, residential interiors and Jewellery showrooms for Skyze - Sky Jewellery at Festival City, Dubai Mall, Karama Centre and Gold Souk Deira.His interest lies in travelling, exploring and learning through all experiences expanding his knowledge in all horizons.
