An academician by passion, Bhakti More graduated in Architecture from Mumbai in 1996. Having amassed experience as a design professional, for the past 15 years, both in the field of architecture and design education, Bhakti is currently a Senior Lecturer at Manipal University, Dubai campus, since 2011 and is firmly of the belief that it is integral to build an interface between the design industry and academia.

For over 7 years, Bhakti has designed, headed and led projects as diverse as Master Planning layouts, design solutions for commercial complexes, residential apartments and villas, retail outlets and hospitality projects, within the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Hongkong and India. Presently, she is pursuing her Associate-ship in Town Planning, with A.I.T.P, New Delhi, India.

In 2002, Bhakti, was honoured for her outstanding contribution to the Indian Institute of Architects, where she has also actively contributed as a Jt Hon Secretary, Mumbai Chapter from 2002-2004.

Her keen interest has always been in the process of team-building and academic progress.
