Tasneem Shikari has been an adjunct faculty with the Interior Design Department, Manipal University, Dubai since 2007. She has completed her graduation in Architecture (B.Arch) from the Pune University. Tasneem has also completed her certification in LEED AP by the Green Building Council – U.S.A. Her academic achievements include a Dissertation project on ‘Architecture for the Education of a Child – A study of spaces in primary school & activities contained’ prepared during the final year of graduation. She was also the recipient of the first prize in Architectural design (1996-1997) and Best academic performance (1997-1998).

Tasneem’s career spans around 10 years and commenced as a student trainee with M/s. Prabhakar Bhagwat Landscape Architects, Town Planners & Environmental Consultants in Ahmedabad, India. Then she worked as an architect with firms such as M/s. Nitin Kute & Company – Nashik. She was involved in civil works and interior design on various prestigious residential, commercial, landscape projects and showroom design. Work envisaged preparation of design briefs, conceptual planning, and presentation to detailed execution drawings and site visits.
