This BSc (Animation) Degree Programme is a three year full-time Course with a Parallel Track Advancement (PTA) concept that enables students to acquire a holistic learning while mastering the craft of Animation.

This Parallel Track Advancement Concept encompasses the following:

• General Education – Training in related aspects outside the core subject leading to a broader and comprehensive development.
• Traditional and Digital Learning - Facilitating simultaneous introduction of traditional and digital techniques and enabling understanding of how these two are actually integrated.
• Hands on Workshop Learning (H.O.W.L) - Experiential learning outside a classroom set-up enabling creative exploration and development.
• Holistic Personality Enhancement (H.O.P.E) – While subject knowledge and skills are developed on the one hand, focus is also directed towards creating a holistic personality for confident functioning in a real world environment.

Visual artists with excellent design and character animation skills and a firm understanding of animation technology are in demand worldwide. With the assistance of new animation technologies, skilled artists are producing stunning visuals for games, multimedia, web, television and feature film.

The objective of the B.Sc in Animation program is to prepare talented artists for a successful career in the animation field. This intensive 3 year full time degree programme is designed for talented and creative students wishing to develop the artistic and technical skills necessary to work in the animation industry. This production-oriented approach to training prepares students for a successful animation career in the entertainment industry.

The program is focuse on developing students’ creative and artistic skills in the areas of drawing, design, character animation, and storytelling, using cutting-edge software. Successful graduates will complete a professional quality demo reel showcasing their animation abilities
