Congratulations to our team from the Department of Information Technology

 8 May 2010 - In the prestigious Design Competition held by the UAE chapter of IEEE, the final year students Joshua D’Souza, Rahul Vagadiya, and Yusuf Bin Ansar of B.SC Information Systems and Management brought laurels to Manipal University, Dubai by winning the second prize in the competition category “Senior Design Competition”. In a highly competitive event, our team won against 21 teams from various universities like BITS- Pilani, American University of Sharjah, American University of Dubai, Petroleum Institute, UAE University, HCT Men’s College, Khalifa University and Ajman University.

Winning entry by the Students of the Department of Information Technology at URC 2010

6 May 2010 - At the Undergraduate Research Conference (URC2010) in Information Technology held at Zayed University, Dubai, the team from Manipal University, Dubai , won the Best Poster Award. URC 2010 invited universities to submit oral or poster presentations in a computing field. All submissions were reviewed by expert faculty and the team from Manipal, Dubai triumphed.
