  • CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Assistant Professor

    • Full-time faculty member of core team at SoDA – Assistant Professor level for both B.Arch,  BDes and other programs.
    • Uses innovative teaching strategies through physical, digital and blended learning using EduNext (Learning Management System), Microsoft Dynamics, Collpoll and other innovative platforms.
       

    2. Co-coordinator for Examination Works

    • Coordinates exam processes as per Examination Cell and Deputy Registrar’s office.
    • Prepares registration lists, progression list of regular and supplementary students
    • Preparation of Examination Hall Tickets
    • Consolidates the evaluation of marks and preparation of GPA calculation
    • Prepares regular and supplementary examination schedules
    • Consolidate and moderate question papers for examination
    • Documents results / analysis for auditing purposes
    • Safeguards and releases end-of-semester transcripts/grade sheets of SoDA students
    • Attends to requests from students and graduates regarding their transcripts.
       

    3. OBTL (Outcomes-Based Teaching and Learning) Coordinator

    • Consolidates feedback mechanism initiatives such as Faculty Feedback on CollPoll, Individual Class Meetings / Discussion and Student Counselling Survey Report.
    • Aligns each B.Arch courses with the "Mandatory Threshold Standards" of CIAT UK's QAA Benchmark Statement for Architectural Technology and Professional Standards framework.
    • Implement OBTL and alignment of each SoDA course outcomes, objectives, assessments with program objectives.
    • Ensures quality of pedagogy by consolidating OBTL documents every end-of-semester from faculty members for SoDA programs (B.Arch, BDes, BAID, CID and MAID). Contents of typical OBTL document folder are as follows:

    • Updates and improves moderation form for internal question papers audit, in order to map each examination question with various learning outcomes per subject.
       

    4.   Co-coordinator for International Accreditation

    • Co-coordinates the International Accreditation process and related administrative tasks. Accomplished the documentation for Accreditation in Principle in 2018.
    • Prepares documentation for B.Arch Program’s international accreditations.
