Located on the First Floor in Block A, in a newly carved out section behind the library, the Office of Student Affairs is committed to supporting students throughout their journey with MAHE Dubai, from the day they enroll right through to their graduation, and beyond.
Our Student Affairs office broadly focuses on four areas pertaining to Student Life:
1. Admission Support and Guidance
From the time of enrollment, the Office of Student Affairs will support students in their transition from school life to university life through orientation programs, freshmen activities, onboarding of international students and much more. The Office of Student Affairs will further provide support and guidance, in case of internal or external student transfers, exchange and such, in terms of counseling, documentation and other requirements. The Office of Student Affairs will also guide and assist students in scholarship applications such as sports scholarships, extended merit scholarships, Al Da’em scholarships, Student Ambassador programs etc.
2. Campus Life and Activities
The Office of Student Affairs ensures that day-to-day interactions with all departments (visa, finance, library, hostel, infrastructure services etc.) are seamless and productive for every student. The Office of Student Affairs will directly be responsible in crafting and administering rules for student conduct and behavior, ensure effective functioning of student clubs and organize student engagement and community outreach activities, plan student wellbeing and sporting activities, offer career guidance support(in collaboration with Career Services) and much more. The Office of Student Affairs aims to maintain an active, holistic, and conducive learning environment for students.
3. Diversity and Inclusivity
The Office of Student Affairs creates and administers a variety of initiatives and programs to meet the diverse needs of all students and ensure a respectful and conducive learning environment. It also provides dedicated support services for Students of Determination on campus. International students are also supported by the Office of Student Affairs, so that a harmonious and inclusive experience is available to every student.
4. Alumni Relations
Student Affairs, in collaboration with Career Services, maintains connections with students who have graduated, invite them to continue to participate in university life through alumni meets and other events. It also actively supports the Career Services department in facilitating opportunities to leverage the skill sets of former students to benefit existing students through guest lectures, career guidance and support.
