MAHE Dubai students win First Prize in the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) Engineering Design Competition organized by DIAC Dubai When: — Where: Category:

Students from the SoEIT (Mechanical Engineering), MAHE Dubai win the First Prize in the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) Engineering Design Competition organized by DIAC Dubai. The team was awarded a cash prize of AED 30,000 for their project “Power Generation Using Speed Breakers “.11 Partner Universities of DIAC had submitted 27 projects in this competition. The main judging criteria in the competition was to select an Innovative, feasible and cost effective, environment friendly, functional and technically designed project. The event allowed industries to discover emerging, innovative new engineering & IT technologies and to source out the skilled workforce talents among the new graduates. The competition started on 26th September and included a presentation in front of a panel answering their questions related to the project. The result was announced on Monday 29th November followed by an Award ceremony.
