MAHE Dubai is delighted to announce that two students from the 2025 graduating batch of the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program have been honoured with the RIBA Gulf Future Architects Awards at Dubai Design Week, November 2025.
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Gulf Student Awards celebrated an inspiring showcase of creativity, innovation and architectural thought, bringing together outstanding student projects from five universities across the region. Three of these – MAHE Dubai, Abu Dhabi University, and Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus – are RIBA-validated institutions, joined by partner universities American University of Sharjah and American University in Dubai.
The awards recognised student work that responded meaningfully to the social, cultural and environmental needs of communities in the Gulf. The judging criteria went beyond aesthetics, focusing on each project’s ability to:
Engage with and reflect community needs
Promote equity and inclusion
Foster social cohesion
Ensure well-being and safety
Integrate sustainable and responsible design solutions

The recognition of MAHE Dubai’s B.Arch students at such a respected platform highlights the School of Design & Architecture’s commitment to context-driven, socially responsible and future-focused architectural education.
MAHE Dubai congratulates the winning students and the faculty team for this significant achievement and for proudly representing the institution at a leading regional design and architecture forum.
