
Dubai, UAE: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai is pleased to share that Dr. Balamurugan Balusamy has co-authored an interdisciplinary research paper titled “Hybrid Bioprinting Platforms: Integrating Microfluidic, Artificial Intelligence, and Additive Manufacturing for Functional Tissue Constructs.”
The paper has been published in Advanced Composites and Hybrid Materials, a prestigious Q1, SCI/WoS/Scopus-indexed journal with an Impact Factor of 21.8.
The research was developed in collaboration with researchers from Google Inc., Seattle, USA, RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, and academic partners from India. The paper explores the integration of microfluidics, artificial intelligence, and additive manufacturing in developing functional tissue constructs, contributing to advancements in bioprinting, biomedical engineering, regenerative medicine, and healthcare innovation.
