
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai is pleased to share that Dr. Balamurugan Balusamy has co-authored an interdisciplinary research paper titled “Functionalized Bacterial Nanocellulose-based Smart Bioelectronics for Biosensing.”
The paper has been published in Carbohydrate Polymer Technologies and Applications, a prestigious Q1, SCI/WoS/Scopus-indexed journal with an Impact Factor of 6.5.
The research was developed in collaboration with researchers from RAK Medical and Health Sciences University and academic partners from India. It explores the potential of functionalized bacterial nanocellulose in the development of smart bioelectronics for biosensing applications, contributing to advancements in biotechnology, healthcare innovation, and intelligent sensing technologies.
