Dr. Praveen Gupta, Professor and Chairperson, Manipal Business School - MAHE Dubai, represented the university at the Forbes Middle East Top Advisors & Investors Summit 2026, held in Abu Dhabi on 10-11 February 2026.
Dr. Gupta featured on the Day 2 panel titled “Turning Insight into Foresight: AI & Analytics Redefining Asset Allocation and Management”, alongside Shekhar Natarajan, Founder & CEO of Orchestro.AI (USA). The session was moderated by Anna Zeitlin, Partner, Fintech & Financial Services, Addleshaw Goddard, and explored how intelligent systems, predictive tools, and real-time analytics are reshaping portfolio strategies and decision-making models.
The discussion highlighted a clear industry message: while AI is accelerating analysis and strengthening investment intelligence, human judgment remains central when it comes to accountability, context, and high-stakes decisions. Forbes Middle East echoed this theme in its post-event coverage, noting that “AI can strengthen analysis and reduce blind risk, but capital decisions still require experience and accountability.”
Forbes Middle East also published editorial coverage on the summit’s AI and asset allocation conversations.
