
MAHE Dubai is pleased to share that Dr. Balamurugan Balusamy has co-authored a research paper titled “Performance Optimization of Naive Bayes Classification Using Filter-Based Feature Selection,” published in the Scopus-indexed Q1 journal Journal of Computational and Cognitive Engineering.
The publication reflects MAHE Dubai’s continued focus on applied research in data-driven computing and its relevance to real-world decision-making. The study explores how filter-based feature selection can enhance the performance of the Naïve Bayes classification approach by improving efficiency and accuracy through smarter selection of input variables.
This work was developed through international academic collaboration, with contributing academicians from Malaysia and India, further strengthening MAHE Dubai’s growing global research network.
