Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai has announced an AED 25 million scholarship initiative aimed at making internationally recognised higher education more accessible to students in the UAE. The initiative reflects the university’s continued commitment to supporting academic ambition, financial accessibility, and future-ready talent development.
Introduced during MAHE Dubai’s 25th year in the UAE, the scholarship fund is designed to support students across undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, and professional programmes. It includes a range of merit-based scholarships, along with targeted financial support schemes such as the Mahila Sarvashiksha Abhiyan, dedicated to female students, and the Al Da’em Scholarship, which supports students requiring additional financial assistance.
As the UAE continues to strengthen its position as a global higher education hub, the initiative aims to help more students pursue quality education locally while contributing to the country’s long-term talent and knowledge economy priorities.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr. S. Sudhindra, Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE Dubai, said that access to quality higher education remains essential as the UAE continues to develop as a global education destination, and that the scholarship initiative reflects MAHE Dubai’s commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals while supporting the country’s future workforce ambitions.
The scholarship initiative covers more than 50 programmes across disciplines aligned with the UAE’s economic diversification and future workforce needs. These include Engineering, IT, Business, Design, Architecture, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Media, Psychology, and other emerging fields.
MAHE Dubai is licensed by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with programmes accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). The campus has also received a 5-Star rating from KHDA, reflecting its strong teaching, facilities, and student experience.
Applications for the scholarship initiative are now open. Eligibility criteria will vary depending on the scholarship category, and students are encouraged to contact the admissions team for more information.
