MAHE Dubai is pleased to share that Dr. Balamurugan Balusamy has co-authored a research paper titled “Comprehensive review of heart disease prediction: A comparative study from 2019 onwards”, published in Elsevier’s Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (Impact Factor: 6.2).
The paper is a comprehensive review of heart disease prediction research from 2019 onwards, mapping how the field has evolved from traditional diagnostic approaches to modern machine learning and deep learning methods. It compares key algorithms, outlines practical limitations, highlights ongoing research gaps, and presents a forward-looking roadmap for future work in predictive healthcare.
