
Students from 4th Year B.Des Interior Design (ID) at MAHE Dubai delivered an outstanding performance at Kaleidoscope 2025, an international student-led design showcase hosted by Asian Paints Berger. Kaleidoscope is curated to encourage peer learning, exchange of ideas, and the celebration of emerging design talent across the GCC, through a multi-stage competition that spotlights design thinking and creativity.
Shortlisted at the UAE Campus Round
During the UAE Campus Round, two MAHE Dubai student teams (out of three) were shortlisted and invited to present at the College-Level Kaleidoscope 2025 Presentations, held on 21 January 2026 in Dubai:

The college-level presentations featured 22 shortlisted teams, with participants from Architecture and Interior Design programmes across institutions including Amity University, University of Sharjah, Ajman University, Heriot-Watt University, and Manipal Academy of Higher Education. MAHE Dubai’s teams were also specially appreciated for their commitment and participation despite ongoing examinations.
GCC Regional Finals – 1st Runner-Up
Following the college-level round, Abinaya Subramanian and Harsha Remesh were shortlisted for Round 3 and invited to compete at the Kaleidoscope 2025 – GCC Regional Finals.
At the GCC Regional Finals, Abinaya and Harsha were awarded 1st Runner-Up, competing against 73 submissions from 11 universities across the GCC. As part of this recognition, they received:
AED 2,500 cash prize
A fully sponsored trip to India to attend Colours Next, the annual event organised by Asian Paints
The GCC Regional Finals were held on 30 January 2026 at Grand Millennium, Al Barsha, Dubai, offering a prestigious platform for students to present design interpretations of the Colour Next themes, celebrating innovation, creativity, and critical design thinking.
