Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BIMelite, reinforcing its commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practice in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector.
The collaboration is designed to equip students with the practical skills and industry exposure required to excel in an increasingly technology-driven built environment. Through this partnership, students will receive hands-on training in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and sustainability concepts using leading industry software, preparing them to meet the evolving needs of the global construction and design industry.
The MoU will also facilitate internships and placement opportunities for high-performing students, enabling them to gain valuable workplace experience and build strong professional networks before graduation. In addition, BIMelite will collaborate with MAHE Dubai to conduct industry-led seminars, workshops, and portfolio development sessions, providing students with insights into emerging technologies, industry trends, and professional best practices.
As part of the collaboration, students and faculty will also have opportunities to engage in consultancy projects driven by real industry requirements, further strengthening the university's emphasis on experiential learning and applied education.
Speaking about the partnership, representatives from both organisations highlighted the shared vision of developing graduates who are not only academically accomplished but also industry-ready, globally competitive, and equipped to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving built environment.
Through strategic collaborations such as this, MAHE Dubai continues to enhance industry-academia engagement, ensuring its students graduate with the knowledge, practical experience, and professional confidence to lead the future of architecture, engineering, and construction.
