As part of its commitment to bridging classroom learning with real-world industry insights, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai hosted the second edition of CLIMBS – Corporate Leadership Insights at Manipal Business School, featuring accomplished alumna and industry leader Ms. Raasi, Chief of Staff at BeeHive, a DFSA-regulated fintech platform specializing in SME lending across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
The session was conducted for the hybrid cohort of Term 3 MBA (International Business) and PGDBA evening and weekend students as part of their Managerial Communication course delivered by Dr. Sayeda. The event brought together approximately 40 students on campus and 17 students online, creating an engaging and interactive learning experience.
A proud alumna of MAHE Dubai, Ms. Raasi completed her BBA degree at the university and graduated from the MBA (Evening) programme last year. She is also a TEDx speaker who delivered her first TEDx talk at the age of 21 and continues to actively engage with young professionals through leadership and personality development initiatives.

During the session, Ms. Raasi shared valuable insights into workplace communication, professionalism, and the expectations organizations have from young professionals entering the workforce. Drawing from her experience in the fintech industry, she emphasized that professional success often depends on mastering the fundamentals that are not always covered in textbooks.
The discussion focused on practical aspects of workplace etiquette, including punctuality, professional communication, accountability, and personal presentation. Students were encouraged to understand the importance of informing colleagues and managers appropriately in the event of delays, communicating with clarity and professionalism, and maintaining suitable corporate attire in professional settings.
By sharing real-world examples and workplace scenarios, Ms. Raasi helped students understand how small professional habits can significantly influence career growth and workplace relationships.
The session generated considerable interest among students, who actively participated through questions, discussions, and reflections on their own career aspirations. The interaction provided participants with a deeper understanding of the transition from academic life to the professional world and the communication skills required to succeed in modern organizations.
Adding further value to the session, Ms. Raasi also highlighted career opportunities within BeeHive, including openings for experienced professionals in Human Resources and Marketing, as well as an entry-level opportunity for candidates with an interest in HR. The announcement reinforced the importance of industry engagement initiatives in connecting students with potential career pathways.
The session also marked an important milestone for the CLIMBS initiative, demonstrating the powerful role alumni can play in giving back to their alma mater through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and career opportunities. Students expressed appreciation for the opportunity to learn directly from a successful alumna whose professional journey closely mirrors their own aspirations.
Commenting on the significance of the initiative, faculty members noted that interactions with industry leaders and alumni provide students with perspectives that complement academic learning and help them develop the professional mindset required for long-term success.
As MAHE Dubai continues to expand the CLIMBS series, students can look forward to engaging with accomplished leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry experts across a wide range of sectors.
Through initiatives such as CLIMBS, MAHE Dubai continues to strengthen its focus on experiential learning, industry engagement, and career readiness, ensuring that students graduate with not only academic knowledge, but also the professional skills and confidence required to thrive in today's evolving workplace.
