Students from MAHE Dubai’s MSc Molecular Biology & Human Genetics and MSc Medical Biotechnology programs recently attended the Dubai Stem Cell Congress (DSCC) 2026 – 4th Edition, held at the Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan, Dubai, a regional platform focused on advances in stem cell science and regenerative medicine.
The visit offered students an immersive learning experience beyond the classroom, with direct exposure to the latest research directions, clinical applications, and innovation shaping the future of regenerative healthcare. Across the congress, students engaged with scientific sessions led by global experts, explored emerging technologies showcased at exhibition booths, and interacted with researchers through poster presentations and discussions.
A key highlight of the experience was the strong emphasis on industry-academia connection. DSCC is initiated by the First Stem Cell and Genomics Laboratory (FSG), which brings together researchers, clinicians, and innovators to drive collaboration and progress in the field. During the congress, FSG also announced the launch of an in-house internship program, opening up valuable pathways for students to gain hands-on exposure, build practical skills, and take early steps toward careers in stem cell research and regenerative medicine.
For MAHE Dubai students, the congress served as a meaningful touchpoint for professional growth – strengthening scientific curiosity, encouraging critical conversations, and providing a closer look at how translational research moves from labs to real-world healthcare impact. The experience reinforced the importance of staying connected with emerging science, global networks, and industry-driven learning opportunities.
MAHE Dubai thanks the organisers and the First Stem Cell and Genomics Laboratory for hosting a well-curated scientific platform and for their continued commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators.
