Students completed a five-day certification programme on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, strengthening their industry readiness in quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.
The Manipal Institute of Health & Life Sciences (MIHLS) at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai Campus, successfully completed a five-day Lead Auditor Training Programme focused on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
The globally recognised certification programme, delivered by Gabriel Registrar, was designed to equip students with practical knowledge and professional skills in quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety management systems.
Through this training, students gained exposure to the principles and practices of auditing, compliance, process improvement, risk management, and management system standards. The programme helped participants understand how international standards are applied across industries to improve operational efficiency, ensure workplace safety, support environmental responsibility, and strengthen organisational performance.

The certification also reflects MIHLS’ continued focus on preparing future-ready and industry-ready professionals. By introducing students to globally relevant standards and professional certification pathways, the institute aims to enhance their employability, practical understanding, and readiness for careers in healthcare, life sciences, quality assurance, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
The programme was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Yasmin Razack, Trainer, and Mr. George Marian from Gabriel Registrar. Their support and expertise played an important role in delivering an impactful learning experience for the students.
Speaking on the significance of the training, the institute highlighted that such certification programmes help bridge classroom learning with professional practice by giving students the opportunity to develop skills that are directly relevant to industry requirements.
The successful completion of the Lead Auditor Training Programme marks another step in MIHLS’ efforts to provide students with learning experiences that go beyond academics and contribute to their overall professional growth.
